To obtain the card, you first need an active card with your My Edenred account. You can find out the current price after logging in to your account.

How do I get my BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred?

You can only order your BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred online through the My Edenred web portal. To obtain the card, you first need an active My Edenred account.

How and when do I receive my card?

Your BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred will be sent to the contact address provided by you within 10 business days after your successful registration. You will receive two separate letters, each on a different day. One will contain your card and the other an envelope with your PIN. You will be informed about the progress by e-mail.

I received my card was delivered; where can I top it up?

You can top up your card in cash or using a bank card at any BENZINA filling station, or by means of a credit transfer. You will initially refuel and pay the full price of the fuel, and the difference will be refunded to your card as cashback at the end of the month.

Why does your BENZINA Tankarta pay off?

You can refuel for substantially less at all BENZINA filling stations all over the Czech Republic. You get to know the price you will pay for fuel in advance (flat price) without worrying about the prices that fuel filling station totems advertise. If the price of fuel on the totem is lower than the discounted flat price, you will be charged the price listed on the totem (it means you always pay the price that is lower at the moment). Except for a one-off charge for card production and delivery, there are no service charges involved in using the card. With the card, you also gain access to a customer web portal (www.tankarta.cz) where you can set various product and financial limits and review your credit status or transactions completed. To log in choose Business/Benefit account. Last but not least, you can order and manage two cards under one account.

How much will the BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred cost me?

The price of one card is CZK 45 (CZK 90 for two cards). The price of production and delivery will be deducted during your first credit top-up.

How many cards can I associate with one account?

Two BENZINA Tankarty by Edenred can be obtained with one account.

How do I pay with the card?

This is a standard payment card with a magnetic strip. To authorise each transaction, the card must be read by a payment terminal and the correct PIN has to be entered.

Can I purchase any goods other than fuel with my BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred?

Yes, you can – once you register at the Customer Web Portal, you can set your card for different products that you can pay for using the card (section CARDS -> Change product range). Just tick the boxes for the desired services.

Is the BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred subject to any limit?

Yes, it is - the maximum daily limit per card is CZK 6,000, the weekly limit is CZK 12,000 and the monthly limit is CZK 20,000.

Is the BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred protected in any way?

Yes, each use of the BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred has to be authorised by entering the correct PIN. In the event of card loss or theft, you can apply for the issue of a new card (subject to a charge as per the current price list), to which the balance can be transferred from the lost/stolen card.

When can a customer start using their card?

Once the customer receives their card and PIN, can check if the card is "active" through their Customer Account before the first use. To login to your account tick Business/Benefit account.

How long is the card validity?

The card is usually valid for two years from issue to the customer. The card expiry date is written on the card. The card is valid until the last day of the month specified as the date of expiry. Prior to the card expiry, BENZINA will automatically send a new card with renewed validity to the customer, and the existing PIN remains valid. Cards are sent by means of standard letters.

How can I block my Tankarta card if it is lost or stolen?

In case of loss or theft, you can block the card on the customer portal tankarta.cz or on the phone number 800 102 800, outside working hours on the phone number 844 323 966.

Can I take advantage of Tankarta card even if I do not use my Edenred cards?

If we do not record any transaction on your Edenred Card, Ticket Restaurant Card or Benefits Card after 3 months, you will loose the advantages of the refueling card (the Contract for BENZINA Tankarta BENEFIT will be terminated).

What is a “Customer Account”?

“Customer Account” is the customer’s account in the customer web portal, opened automatically after the successful completion of a card order. A customer will receive the login information for their “Customer Account” to the e-mail address provided in the order once the account is generated. The customer then logs in to their “Customer Account” through the www.tank-karta.cz website. To login choose Business/Benefit account. When accessing the “Customer Account” for the first time, the customer must change the one-off password assigned to them by BENZINA. If you are unable to log in, click on the "Forgotten Password" link.

The Customer Account allows the user to customise certain features of the cards associated with the account (e.g., custom card limits within the confines of the general limits, permitted goods, card information and blocking/unblocking). Changes in the settings are effective immediately after processing. The “Customer Account” also allows for reviewing all transactions completed using the customer’s cards and the current version of the Terms and Conditions, and it also stores all documents (both tax and non-tax) for the card transactions completed.

What is the “BENZINA Totem Price”?

“BENZINA Totem Price” is the price of the fuel listed on the totem pole or, as the case may be, on the fuel dispenser at the specific fuel filling station in the BENZINA network at the time when the customer is purchasing fuel.

What is the “BENZINA List Price”?

“BENZINA List Price” is the purchase price of the fuel that BENZINA usually sets on Mondays and that is usually valid from the next Tuesday to Monday of the following week. Exceptionally, BENZINA may announce its List Price on any day with effect from the day following its announcement. The customer can see the List Price in their Customer Account after logging in.

What products does the BENZINA List Price apply to?

BENZINA List Price is set separately for each type of fuel sold across the BENZINA network and applies to the following products: Efecta 95 (Natural 95/unleaded), Efecta Diesel (diesel fuel), Verva 100 (premium unleaded), Verva Diesel (premium diesel) and AdBlue. BENZINA List Price does not apply to LPG and CNG.

How is the final price for the customer calculated?

The final price of the fuel whose price is subject to BENZINA List Price and which is sold across the BENZINA network is the BENZINA List Price applicable to the specific product on the day of purchase minus the discount applicable to the category where the customer is ranked. The ranking of customers in the various discount groups is determined by Edenred. The amount of discount from BENZINA Flat Price is equal for all products and is set as a fixed amount per litre (CZK/L including VAT). If the price of fuel on the totem is lower than the discounted BENZINA Flat Price, you will be charged the price listed on the totem (it means you always pay the price that is lower at the moment).

The final price for the customer for the products that are not subject to BENZINA List Price is equal to the actual price at the place and date when the purchase was made.

How and when are the discounts for the customer cleared?

During the accounting period (calendar month), the customer purchases fuel for BENZINA Totem Prices. Once the accounting period (calendar month) has ended, payments are cleared and the difference between the BENZINA Totem Price at the moment of the transaction and the BENZINA List Price applicable at the time of the transaction minus the discount attributable to the customer depending on their discount category is credited to that customer’s Customer Account.

How can a customer increase their credit?

A customer may increase the credit in their Customer Account either by means of a direct deposit of money at a BENZINA filling station (using cash or a bank card) or via credit transfer. Cash deposits to be made at BENZINA filling stations are subject to a daily limit within the range between CZK 500 minimum and CZK 50,000 maximum per day. When using credit transfer, the customer identify the payment by using the number that BENZINA assigned to them when opening their Customer Account as the variable symbol. Credit transfers are not subject to any limit and the instructions for credit transfers are available in the Customer Account.
