Can I use my meal card as soon as I receive it?

Before you pay with your new Ticket Restaurant meal card, you must activate and charge it. You activate the card in your online card account. If you don't have an account yet, you must sign up. Activate your card in the My cards section. You can charge the credit on your card in your portal in the Charge card section.

For how long are the Ticket Restaurant meal card and the credit on the card valid?

The Ticket Restaurant card is valid for 3 years. Credit charged from January 1 till September 30 is always valid till the end of the same year . Credit charged from October 1 till December 31 is valid till the end of the following year. During card transactions, the oldest funds in your account are automatically withdrawn. The card can be repeatedly charged.

Where can I pay with the Ticket Restaurant meal ticket?

You can find a list of partner establishments that accept the Ticket Restaurant Card in the Establishment search engine in your portal. Select Ticket Restaurant Card in the payment options and click the "Edit results" button. You can also customize your search by entering an address or keyword.

Another option is the TicketCard by Edenred mobile app, which you can download for Android, iOS and Windows Phone for free. This enables you to have the restaurant search engine with geolocation with you at all times.

What do I need to pay with my mobile phone?

A mobile phone with Android Lollipop 5.0 and higher with NFC support, an activated Edenred card, the Google Pay app, and Internet connection to insert the card into your phone. Internet connection is not necessary for the payment itself.

Are mobile payments safe?

It may surprise you, but it's safer than contactless payments with a credit card. The number of your actual plastic card is not listed anywhere. If you lose your phone or it is stolen, you can simply block it remotely or delete the data. This does not affect the function of your plastic Edenred card, which remains functional so you do not have to request a new card.

Where can I pay with my mobile?

Everywhere where you can pay with the Edenred card - in the TicketCard by Edenred mobile application, you'll find a simple search engine of places for your card.

I didn't receive an activation email - what should I do?

Don't worry - we send emails to the address Edenred paired with your card. If you no longer have access to this email address, or you did not enter an email address in your card account, you can add an email address to your card via our phone operators: 840 111 317.

What if I lose my mobile phone?

In upleasant cases like this, you need to block mobile payments as quickly as possible - you can do this with FIND MY DEVICE, which lets you remotely erase data or block your phone. If you remove your mobile card from your phone for this reason or any other reason, your plastic card will remain functional. If you block your plastic card, your mobile card will also be blocked.

How do I pay with my phone?

Do you know how to tap your phone on a payment terminal? Then you know how to pay with a Google Pay mobile card. The device must be active (no black screen); from time to time, your phone will ask you to unlock the screen. And the best part - you don't pay any extra! Google Pay is completely free of charge.

And what about a PIN code?

You don't need one - for payments over 500 CZK, you confirm the payment by unlocking of your phone.

How can I know the payment was successful?

A green "check" means the transaction was successful. Additionally, if you have the TicketCard by Edenred application, you will instantly receive a push notification on your phone stating when and where you just paid. You can also view the last 10 transactions with your mobile card in Google Pay.

I have mobile payment with my bank - what should I do?

If your bank uses Google Pay you'll know it, because when you download Google Pay to your device you'll see your credit card. Google Pay always uses the card that is first (on top) for payments. To change the order, simply drag the card to the desired position. If the bank uses a different technology, you need to choose the application in your phone settings to specify which one will be used for the payment.

What is the Edenred Benefits card?

The Edenred Benefits card is a modern electronic form of leisure time benefits. The card is issued in your name and secured with a PIN code. You can use the card to pay for a wide range of leisure activities through standard Mastercard payment terminals in selected establishments that are part of our partner network. You can find these places using the Establishment search engine. You can also pay with the card online in selected partner eshops.

Where will I find the PIN to my Edenred Benefits card?

You will receive the PIN to your card during the activation of your card at edenred.cz, or via telephone at 840 111 320. You can then view your PIN in the My cards section in your online card account.

Where can I change the PIN to my Edenred Benefits card?

You can change your PIN code in ATMs that enable PIN code change for credit cards. You will be charged a fee for the PIN change. For more information, please refer to the terms of use that you have received with the card in the letter.

How can I charge my Edenred Benefits card?

You can only charge your card in your cafeteria. On the home page, click " Charge my card" next to the picture with the Edenred Benefits card and finish the order.

Can I also pay with my Edenred Benefits card in eshops?

In some partner eshops you can pay with your Edenred Benefits card. These eshops include lékárna.cz, drmax.cz and invia.cz. However, the eshops listed in the cafeteria may not be partners for online payment with the EdenredBenefits card, so please pay attention to the list of partners for online card payments at benefits.edenred.cz. You will find the list at the bottom.

I can only buy certain types of goods in online pharmacies. Why?

Buying with benefits in online pharmacies is governed by the Income Tax Act, which stipulates what goods you can buy here. You can purchase goods related to health, medication, hygiene and similar goods and medical devices with a medical prescription.

Why can't I buy certain expensive package tours and stays through the cafeteria?

The Travel and Accommodation categories are subject to a legislative limit. This means that purchases in these categories, including payment with respective paper and electronic vouchers, or a benefit card, is legally limited to the amount of 20,000 per employee per year.

Can I only pay for part of my purchase with my meal card?

It depends on the cashier system of the store. Some systems can divide a purchase into parts, others cannot. You can ask the cashier in advance whether you can pay for your purchase using multiple methods, or split the purchase before exceeding the limit into two parts.

Can I pay with the meal card in Kaufland and Lidl?

You can pay with our Ticket Restaurant Card in Kaufland and Lidl without problem.

When will funds be credited to my Edenred Benefits or Ticket Restaurant card?

You can only charge your card in your cafeteria. On the home page of your cafeteria, click "Charge my card" next to the picture with the Edenred Benefits card and finish the order. The funds will be transferred on the day given in the conditions of your cafeteria.

When will the funds for the past month be credited to my Ticket Restaurant card?

We charge the funds within 48 hours after your employer pays the invoice.

How do I recharge the Edenred Benefits Card or Ticket Restaurant?

Both cards are a benefit from your employer, so only your employer can charge them.

Where can I find my PIN?

You will find your PIN when you sign in to your account at www.edenred.com. You just need to have your card with you. You can also comfortably find your PIN code with your mobile phone, as our site is fully responsive.

Can I pay more than 500 CZK with my Ticket Restaurant card?

There is no daily or transaction limit on the Ticket Restaurant® Card. You can pay with your card up to the amount of the balance on your account with no limits. For payments over CZK 500, you will be asked to enter a PIN.

How to activate my card?

We send the vouchers to the contact address listed in your order. It is not possible to pick them up personally.

Where can I pay with a Ticket Restaurant® meal voucher or card?

You can find the current list of establishments in our search engine or through the TicketCard by Edenred mobile app, which you can download for free on Google Play and Apple Store. Partner establishments are marked with a sticker with the Ticket Restaurant® logo.

You can find the balance in your online account or in the TicketCard by Edenred mobile app. The app also includes the Establishment search engine, which can help you find establishments that accept these cards. You can download the app for free on Google Play and Apple Store.

What law deals with meal voucher legislation?

The use of Ticket Restaurant® meal vouchers and cards is governed by the Labor Code and the Income Tax Act. Act no. 262/2006 Coll., the Labor Code, stipulates that the employer is obliged to enable employees to have a meal during all shifts.

What if my Ticket Restaurant or Edenred Benefits card doesn't work and I can't pay?

Payment errors may occur due to the business's replacement of their payment terminal, incorrect use of the card or mechanical damage. We recommend downloading the TicketCard by Edenred app and turning on automatic notifications. If your payment is declined, you will receive an automatic message with the reason for the rejection of the transaction. If you're having trouble, contact our customer department.

How do I change my PIN code to a Ticket Restaurant or EdenredBenefits card?

You can change your PIN code in an ATM. You will be charged a fee for the PIN change. For more information, please refer to the terms of use that you have received with the card in the letter.

What if I lose my Ticket Restaurant/Edenred Benefits card or it is stolen?

If you lose your card, you must first block it to avoid abuse - you can do this after signing in to your account at www.edenred.com and reporting this to your employer, who will order a new card for you. We'll automatically transfer all your funds from your old card, and you can even keep your PIN code. The card will be delivered to the address listed by your employer in the order approximately within ten days.

Can I use my own funds to charge my card?

Only your employer can charge your card.

Can I use the Edenred Benefits / Ticket Restaurant right away as soon as I receive it?

What if I lose my card, when will you issue a new one? How long does it take to issue a new card?

If you lose your card, you will receive another one. From the date of approval and payment, it takes 10 days for the card to be made and sent to your address.

Is the credit on the card insured? If not, is it possible to insure it?

Edenred is liable for the funds on the card from the moment it is blocked. These funds remain on the account for which a new card is issued. Edenred is not liable for funds and transactions executed on the account before the card is blocked. The funds on the card cannot be insured.

What should I do if I do not have a sufficient balance on my card to make a payment?

If there is not enough credit on the card to make a payment, it depends on the particular establishment or salesperson how they will deal with the situation after coming to an agreement with the customer. There are two options: You can either pay the full amount in cash, or you can pay part by card (using the rest of the balance and paying the rest in cash).

How can I give a tip with the card?

You can give a tip just like with a regular credit card. It depends on the specific payment terminal.

I'm interested in a card. What do I need to do to get one?

You can order a card at one of our stores or online. Once it's ready to be picked up, the store will contact you and arrange its pickup. Bring your identity card with you and an excerpt from the commercial or trade register. You will then need to activate your card. To do so, you will need the card and letter you received from us with the card.

Can I increase the balance on my Edenred card by sending funds from my private bank account?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Only Edenred can charge your card.

Where can I pay with the card?

You can pay with your Edenred cards (Edenred Card, Ticket Restaurant Card and Edenred Benefits Card) using standard payment terminals in selected outlets and standard payment e-shop gateways included in our affiliate network. You can find such outlets using the outlet search engine.

How safe is it to use the card?

The card meets the requirements for complete security of transactions. Standard Mastercard® payment terminals are used for payments. If you lose your card, block it. We will issue a new card and you won't lose your money.

What happens to credit on a card if an employee leaves the company? Is it possible to access it? Can the balance on the card be exchanged for cash or transferred to an employee's account, or can an employee exchange it for paper meal vouchers?

The funds on the card belong to the employee as if they were paper vouchers. As the employer, please let us know about the employee's departure (name, surname, card number). Once the application has been sent, the card remains valid, but you will not be required to pay for it. However, the card can no longer be charged. The credit shall expire on its original expiration date, or on the expiration date of the card itself. Once the card expires, it is no longer possible to issue a new card or to use the funds on the account.

What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay allows you to use your iPhone, your Apple Watch or your iPad as a payment instrument to pay your lunch or free-time activies according the same rules as your Ticket Restaurant Card or Edenred Benefits Card.

What are the compatible devices for paying lunch or recreational benefits with Apple Pay?

Edenred payments can be done with iPhone and Apple Watch. Apple Pay is available on following devices: iPhone Xs & Xs Plus, Xr, iPhone X, iPhone 8 & 8 Plus, iPhone 7 & 7 Plus, iPhone 6s & 6s Plus, iPhone 6 & 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 & iPad mini 4, Apple Watch, MacBook Pro with Touch ID.

How to utilize Apple Pay and does it cost something?

Apple Pay is available free of charge and without subscription for all the users of the Ticket Restaurant Card or Edenred Benefits Card.. To use it, you need to be equipped with a compatible device and to have registered your card on the “Wallet” app of your iPhone, in the settings of your iPad or on the “Watch” app of your Apple Watch (see compatible devices in the previous question).

Which Edenred cards can be added and used with Apple Pay?

You can add and use Edenred Benefits Card and Ticket Restaurant Card with Apple Pay.

I already have another payment card registered in Apple Pay, can I still add my Edenred Benefits Card or Ticket Restaurant?

Yes, you can have several payment cards in Apple Pay. You have the opportunity to define one card by default. You can also choose another card before transaction, if you have multiple cards registered to Apple Pay.

Where can I use Apple Pay?

The network is the same as for the Edenred Benefits Card and Ticket Restaurant. You can use Apple Pay at all the locations belonging to Edenred merchant network, which are equipped with a contactless terminal reader (NFC).

Addition to Edenred’s card, can I add other cards to Apple Pay?

Yes, Wallet application can have 8 different cards. Additionally, Edenred Benefits Card or Ticket Restaurant can be added to four different devices e.g. two iPhones and two Apple Watches if card owner has that many devices.

What are Apple Pay and contactless payment limits?

Payments limits are same as with Edenred Benefits Card and Ticket Restaurant. There is no payment limit for the Ticket Restaurant Card and for the meal wallet on Edenred Card and you can pay with it up to the amount of your meal account balance. The daily payment limit for a leisure wallet on the Edenred Card is CZK 40,000.

How can I register my card in Apple Pay with my iPhone?

Open the “Wallet” app, click “Add a card” then choose “Next” and enter manually the 16 numbers of your card, your name, the expiry date (month/year) of the card and the cryptogram (3 number safety code) shown on the back of the card. Read and validate the Terms & Conditions. After this step, you have the choice to receive a verification code by email to the address provided at edenred.cz service or by calling to customer service.

How can I register Edenred Benefits Card or Ticket Restaurant in Apple Pay with my Apple Watch?

Once your card is registered on the Wallet app of your iPhone, have your Apple Watch ready and unlock it. Then open the “Watch” app on your Apple Watch and select “Wallet and Apple Pay”.

Click on display “Add” next to the Edenred Benefits Card or Ticket Restaurant. Enter the cryptogram (3 number safety code) shown on the back of the card and click on “Next”. Read and validate the Terms and Conditions.

After this step, you have the choice to receive an email at the address of your MujEdenred at edenred.cz account including a verification code to enter or to call our customer care.

Do I need a PIN/locking code to pay with Apple Pay?

To pay with Apple Pay, we recommend to use the Touch ID or Face ID feature that guarantees a high level of security. In case this feature does not work, you can enter your PIN/locking code on your iPhone.

Are the rules for using lunch benefit or free-time benefits the same for Apple Pay and for the Ticket Restaurant Card or Edenred Benefits Card?

With Apple Pay, your mobile is an additional instrument that allows you to use your lunch and free-time benefits. The legislation is still the same regardless for paying with Ticket Restaurant Card or Edenred Benefits Card registered to Apple Pay or for paying with a plastic card.

How to track my transactions with Apple Pay?

The transactions done with Apple Pay are available on Wallet transaction section, your mobile aplication Ticket Card by Edenred or in your personal account MujEdenred od edenred.cz, in the same way as the transactions you have done with your Edenred Benefits Card or Ticket Restaurant Card.

I have lost my iPhone/My iPhone have been stolen

Go to www.icloud.com to use the “Find my iPhone” feature that allows you to delete all your card registered on Apple Pay. From then, your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or MacBook Pro will not be able to be used as a payment instrument.

Who should I contact in case of issue?

  • Device: for any issue related to your Apple device, the Wallet or iCloud, please contact Apple.
  • Card: for any issue related to the registration of your Edenred Benefits Card and Ticket Restaurant or the Apple Pay transactions, please contact our customer care Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5.00pm at +420 840 111 317 for Ticket Restaurant Card and +420 840 111 320 for Edenred Benefits Card.

How do I activate my new Edenred Card?

You can activate the Edenred Card at www.edenred.cz. Create your account and select "Activate card" in your account. You will need an activation code, which is part of the cover letter with the Edenred card, to activate the card.

Where can I find my Edenred Card PIN?

You will receive your PIN in your card account. Log in to your account at www.edenred.cz and select "Show PIN" next to your card. Follow the PIN display instructions.

How do I find out how much money I have on the Edenred Card?

You can find your balance on your Edenred card in your card account at www.edenred.cz or at the Edenred Card infoline on 296 363 000. The TicketCard by Edenred smartphone app will also be available to determine your balance.

What wallets does the Edenred Card contain?

The Edenred Card allows you to use 2 wallets - the Ticket Restaurant voucher wallet and the Edenred Benefits leisure wallet. Wallets are charged separately and the cardholder can use the wallet to which the employer has uploaded funds.

What makes the Edenred Card more advantageous than the original Ticket Restaurant and Edenred Benefits cards?

  • Edenred Card is the most modern type of employee benefits, which allows you to use up to 2 wallets within one card - meal voucher and / or leisure wallet.
  • If you are currently using only one of these benefits (meal vouchers or leisure benefits), with the Edenred Card you can reward employees with a new benefit at any time without additional costs for additional cards. All you have to do is recharge your second wallet.
  • If you are already contributing to employees for meals and leisure activities, thanks to the combination of benefits into one card, you will save the costs of issuing new and issuing expired cards. Instead of 2 Ticket Restaurant and Edenred Benefits fees, you only pay 1 of the Edenred Card. In addition, employees will appreciate the simplicity and greater comfort of payment.

Do we have to modify or sign a new contract when switching to the Edenred Card?

There is no need to sign a new contract when changing from Ticket Restaurant Card and / or Edenred Benefits Card. The original contracts, price list and conditions that we have concluded with each other for Ticket Restaurant and Edenred Benefits cards are still valid for ordering a new Edenred Card and recharging the relevant wallet.

Do we have to modify the contract if we decide to use a second wallet and provide employees with a new benefit?

Even in this case, there is no need to modify or sign a new contract for a new product. The decision to reward an employee with a new benefit is entirely up to you and you do not have to inform us about it in any way. The second wallet will be subject to the same conditions as the one you already use. All you have to do is recharge it.

When will I be able to start ordering the Edenred Card for my employees?

The transfer takes place gradually, we will inform you about everything in time by email.

Can I start ordering the Edenred Card before informing me of the transfer?

Yes, if you are interested in the Edenred Card, contact your Edenred sales representative or write to us via the contact form.

Is it possible that for some time some employees will still have the "old" Ticket Restaurant Card / Edenred Benefits Card and others will already have the Edenred Card? Nevermind?

Yes, it doesn't matter. In case you do not want to exchange the cards once for all employees, some will have a Ticket Restaurant / Edenred Benefits, new employees or those who have lost the card will already have an Edenred Card. The cards will be replaced gradually according to their expiration and until then they will be fully functional.

Can I exchange all cards for my employees at once?

Yes, it is of course possible to exchange all cards from the original Ticket Restaurant for Edenred Benefits. If you are interested in a complete replacement, please contact your Edenred sales representative or write to us via the contact form.

Does the transition to Edenred Card change the way you order and recharge?

No, you can order and recharge cards as you are used to. If you order via the Edenred online portal, after logging in to your account, you will find "only" the Edenred Card in the card menu after switching.

How should I proceed when ordering / recharging catering cards?

In the order, select "Ticket Restaurant® on the Edenred Card" - this option is also used to recharge existing Ticket Restaurant cards.

How should I proceed when ordering / recharging leisure benefits cards?

In the order, select "Edenred Benefits on the Edenred Card" - this option is also used to recharge existing Edenred Benefits cards.

How will it be with invoicing?

Until all employees have a new Edenred Card, we will always send you 2 invoices after ordering and recharging - one for the Ticket Restaurant / Edenred Benefits cards and the other for the Edenred Card.

Can I stay with existing cards?

Existing cards are fully functional until they expire and do not need to be changed immediately. However, when they expire, they will be replaced by new Edenred Cards. We will no longer issue separate Ticket Restaurant and Edenred Benefits cards.

How to proceed when exchanging expired cards?

Our customer center will contact you in advance and ask you to check for cards that are nearing expiration. After selecting and confirming the cards for exchange, we will have a new Edenred Card produced for the selected employees. Upon activation, employees will then simply transfer funds from the old Ticket Restaurant / Edenred Benefits card to the new Edenred Card in their Edenred account.

The Edenred Card is a state-of-the-art benefit card that employees can use to pay for both food and leisure benefits. Instead of 2 separate cards, one with 2 wallets (Ticket Restaurant for meals and Edenred Benefits for free time) is enough. In addition, they can upload the card to Google Pay or Apple Pay, pay by mobile phone and do not have to carry it with them at all.

When paying, is it necessary to decide from which wallet the funds are to be deducted?

No, paying the Edenred Card is extremely comfortable. You don't have to tell anyone or pick up at the payment terminal. When paying, the Edenred Card knows what the employee is paying for and deducts money from the correct wallet.

How to proceed when activating the Edenred Card?

Each newly issued card (whether it is for a new employee who did not have one in the past or a replaced / replacement card for an existing employee) must be activated after registration / login to the online account on the Edenred portal. Activation instructions are part of the welcome letter that the employee receives with the new card.

What do I need to do to transfer balances from the original Ticket Restaurant or Edenred Benefits cards to the new Edenred Card?

During activation via an online account, it is possible to easily transfer balances from the original cards. At that moment, we will block the cards and transfer the balances to the new Edenred Card within 5 working days.

Where can employees find more information about the Edenred Card?

After logging in to their online account, Edenred Card users have a set of useful manuals to help them get started with the card (and related services). You will find these materials in the "Documents to download" section.

How do I get my BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred?

You can easily order BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred online in your user account on the Edenred portal. To obtain BENZINA Tankarta from Edenred, you must already have any Edenred card active in your account.

How and when do I receive my card?

BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred will arrive within 10 working days after ordering by post to the contact address you have filled in. You will receive two separate letters, each on a different day. One will contain your card and the other an envelope with its PIN. You will be informed about the progress by e-mail.

How can I top up the card?

You can top up the credit at Tankarta in cash or using a bank card at any BENZINA petrol station or by bank transfer using the payment details that you can find in your account on the Tankarta customer portal.

Why does your BENZINA Tankarta pay off?

It saves both time and money. You will get discount at all BENZINA filling stations all over the Czech Republic therefore you don’t have to go to more distant filling stations which have better prices.

How much will the BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred cost me?

The production and delivery of the card costs CZK 45 (CZK 90 for two cards). This amount will be automatically deducted from your first top-up.

Except for this one-time production and delivery fee, there are no additional service fees associated with the card.

How many cards can I order?

Two BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred can be purchased within one account. Add the second card for another family member in the first step of the order, it is no longer possible to order it later.

How do I pay with the card?

BENZINA Tankarta is a standard payment card with a magnetic stripe. To authorize each transaction, the card must be read by a payment terminal and you must enter a correct PIN.

Can I use BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred to buy an assortment other than fuel?

Yes. After registering on the customer portal, you can also choose the type of assortment that can be paid by card (in the CARDS - Assortment change section). Just check the boxes of the services offered.

Is BENZINA Tankarta from Edenred somehow protected?

Yes, every payment by BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred must be authorized by entering the correct PIN code. In case of loss or theft of the card, it is possible to block it and request the issuance of a new card (charged according to the current price list), to which it is possible to transfer the remaining balance from the lost/stolen card.

When can I start using the card?

As soon as you receive the card and PIN, log in to your account on the Tankarta portal and check whether the card is marked as "active". Then you can recharge it and start using it. Don't forget that the card issuance fee must be paid within 14 days of receiving the card – the amount will be automatically deducted from your first top-up.

What is the validity of the card?

The card is valid for 3 years from its issuance - until the last day of the month, which is stated on it as the validity of the card. Before this time expires, BENZINA will automatically send you a new card with a renewed validity. Card replacement is free, and its PIN code does not change.

How can I block Tankarta in case of its loss or theft?

In case of loss or theft, you can block the card via the Tankarta customer portal or on phone number 800 102 800. If called outside of the working hours, use phone number 844 323 966.

Can I use Tankarta even if I do not use my Edenred cards?

If we do not record any transaction on your Edenred Card, Ticket Restaurant Card or Benefits Card after 3 months, you will lose the advantages of the refuelling card (the Contract for BENZINA Tankarta BENEFIT will be terminated).

What is a “Customer Account”?

Customer account on the Tankarta portal will be automatically created for you after the order is completed. You will receive login details to the e-mail address provided in the order. The first time you log in, you must change the assigned one-time password. If you are unable to log in, click on the "Forgot Password" link.

In the customer account, you can view the statement of transactions, block and unblock the card or modify some of its functions - for example, set your own limits within the generally valid ones or set the payments for other products. Changes to the settings are reflected immediately after they are processed.

You will also find there the currently valid announced prices of all fuels and business conditions.

What is the totem price?

“BENZINA totem price“ is the price of fuel which you can see at the BENZINA filling station on the price totem or tank stand, and you will pay it with Tankarta at the time of fuel collection.

What is the announced price?

"BENZINA announced price" is the price of fuel from which the discount with Tankarta from Edenred is deducted. It is usually set on Monday and is usually valid from the following Tuesday to Monday of the following week. Exceptionally, BENZINA may set the "announced price" on any day, in such case it is valid from the day following its announcement. You can find the announced price after logging in to your account on the Tankarta customer portal.

Which products does the discount with Tankarta by Edenred apply to?

The discount applies to the following products: Efecta 95 (Natural 95/unleaded), Efecta Diesel (diesel), Verva 100 (premium unleaded), Verva Diesel (premium diesel) and AdBlue.

The "BENZINA announced price" is determined separately for each type of fuel (except for LPG and CNG) sold at filling stations in the BENZINA network.

The current announced prices of fuels as well as the discount can be found in your account on the Edenred portal.

What is the final price of fuel?

For fuels whose price is determined by the "BENZINA announced price" and which are purchased in the BENZINA network, the final price is determined by deducting your discount rate from the "BENZINA announced price" valid for the product on the day of purchase. The amount of the discount is the same for all products and is determined as a fixed amount per litre (CZK/l including VAT).

If the "totem price" of fuel is lower than the "announced price" after deducting the discount, you will be charged the totem price (i.e. you will always pay the price that is lower at the moment). The final price of fuels that are not determined by the "announced price" corresponds to the totem price of the specific filling station on the day the purchase was made.

How and when are the discounts cleared?

During the calendar month (billing period) you buy fuel at stand prices. At the end of the billing period, the payments will be settled and the difference between the "BENZINA totem price" at the time of the transaction and the "BENZINA announced price" valid at the time of the transaction reduced by your discount will be credited to your Tankarta (your customer account).

Example:

On 1 February 2021, you will refuel 20 litres of Efecta Diesel at the BENZINA filling station. The totem price, which you will see directly at the filling station, is CZK 29.90 per litre.

You will pay 20 * 29.90 = 598 CZK with Tankarta.

On this day, the announced price was CZK 30.10 per litre. Your discount is CZK 1.50 per litre. Your discounted price with Tankarta is therefore 30.10-1.50 = 28.60 CZK per litre. When buying 20 litres, it is 20 * 28.60 = 572 CZK.

Because you paid more at the gas station on 1 February 2021, at the beginning of March you will receive a cashback in the amount of the difference to your Tankarta.

Cashback amount: 598-572 = 26 CZK

Are there any limits when recharging the card?

At the filling station, you can top up any amount from 500 CZK to 50,000 CZK per day in cash or by card. Less than 500 CZK cannot be recharged.

Recharging the card by bank transfer is not limited in any way. Payment details, including the variable symbol, can be found in the customer account on the Tankarta portal, where you can also easily generate a QR code for easy payment.

Where can I find the currently valid "Service Price List" and "General Terms and Conditions" for BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred?

The current version of the "Price List of Services" and the "General Terms and Conditions" can be found in your Tankarta customer account.

What if you don't have enough credit on your card to pay for the fuel?

If the balance on your Tankarta is lower than the price for fuel, you can top it up directly at the filling station. Just tell the staff that you want to top up the card first, and then pay with it.

How can I withdraw from the contract?

You have the right to withdraw from the contract without notice within 14 days of receiving the card without giving a reason. Later, it is possible to terminate the contract with one month's notice (starting from the first day of the following month). In both cases, the notice must be sent in writing (by letter or e-mail). Within 14 days of withdrawal, it is also necessary to send the issued cards back or hand them over at the headquarters of BENZINA in Prague 4. What happens with unspent funds after the end of the contract?

If the card is cancelled, it will be blocked first. After 15 days of blocking, the termination of the contract is processed and within the next 15 days you will receive the unused funds to the bank account whose number you entered when ordering the card. If you have changed your account number during this time, report it to BENZINA at the termination of the contract.

Can I add my Tankarta to BENZINA mobile app?

Yes. First enable card sharing in your customer account on the Tankarta portal - click on the gear wheel in the upper right corner and select the “Sdílení karet” tab. Check the "Povolit přidávání karet z mobilní aplikace" option and save the settings. Add the card to the application and then confirm it again in your account by approving the addition request in the section Karty – BENZINA aplikace – žádosti o přidání karty. Now you can conveniently and safely pay directly from the car and collect loyalty points using the application - for every CZK 3 spent, you get 1 koník.

What if the totem/stand price is lower than the discounted price with Tankarta?

At some filling stations on some days, it may happen that the stand price will be lower than the announced price deducted by the discount. In this case, you can still pay with Tankarta and you can be sure that you will always pay the best price. If the stand price is lower, you will pay this price directly at the gas station and the discounted price will not be taken into account when billing.

How does the discount with BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred work?

You always know the price you will pay for fuel in advance. You don't have to worry about the prices at the totems of the filling stations. If the price of fuel on the totem is lower than the discounted price with Tankarta from Edenred, you will be charged the price stated on the totem of the gas station, ie. you always pay the price that is lower at that moment.

The discounted price with Tankarta is created by deducting the Edenred discount from the so-called announced BENZINA price, which you will find after ordering the card in your Tankarta customer account.

At the filling station, you pay the full price of fuel (displayed on the totem) with Tankarta and you get the difference from to the discounted price in the form of cashback at the beginning of the next month.

By when is it necessary to pay the price for issuing the card?

The card issuance fee must be paid within 14 days of receiving the card. The amount (45 or 90 CZK) will be automatically deducted from your first top-up. Until then, you will see this amount as an outstanding receivable in your account on the Tankarta customer portal. In case of no payment, the card will be blocked after 45 days.

Where can I find current fuel prices using BENZINA Tankarta by Edenred?

Before ordering the card, you will find discounted prices for the fuels after logging in to a user account on the Edenred portal.

Can I use Tankarta even if I change my employer?

If your new employer does not provide meal or benefit cards from Edenred, you can only use Tankarta as long as you use your Edenred card. If we do not record any transaction on your Edenred Card, Ticket Restaurant Card or Benefits Card after 3 months, the card will be blocked, and the unused funds will be returned to your bank account.

If you receive a new Edenred card from a new employer and register it under your existing Edenred account, you can continue to use your existing Tankarta. There is no need to order a new one.
